ANTI-WAR FUND

If our media reported the truth, the world would not be in such a chaotic state.  One of the major issues driving this, is a small number of organisations and corporations have a stranglehold over the actual news distributed through mainstream avenues.  

 

In Britain; the vast majority of our news is controlled by only three corporations: The Daily Mail Group, Rupert Murdoch's News Corp and the Reach Media Group.  In Scotland around 20 newspapers are owned by a single company alone, a division of the US based media company Gannett.

 

It is essential that we fight this, it is essential that we create a new media model, a media model which will, quite simply, report the truth.  This requires being able to challenge the current structures and their corporate sponsors, on the terms they, unfortunately, currently dictate, which involves money.

 

We are looking to create a ring fenced battle fund to get anti-war and pro-peace messages out to as large an audience as we can.

 

To fund raise, we are offering a unique garment, the first of our Rebel Collection, a depiction of the irrepressible Thomas Muir. An incredibly brave young man who spoke truth to power and willingly paid the price. He may be a, somewhat disappointingly, lesser known Scottish rebel, however his remarkable story is truly a tale to behold and a perfect example of how freedom fighters and rebels come in many glorious shapes and forms.

 

Every garment purchased will contribute to reporting nothing but the truth.
